24A010 Savage Judges by Jim Davies, 3/5/2024

In the coming Zero Government Society there will be no prisons. Even if the worst of the worst kriminals are kept under constraint for the protection of others, they'll be free to earn the cost of their keep and of restitution to their victims as ordered; anything over, they will retain. That's because justice is not at all about retribution. It's about restitution, making whole (as far as is feasible) those damaged.

By caging the perp as is done today, no such justice is possible. It's an ANTI-justice system.

That's true today of all "criminal" cases; a law is broken, so in revenge a punishment is imposed. And I've noticed that the most savage imprisonments are inflicted on those who in some way defy the authority of government.

Last month for one example Joshua Schulte was put in a cage for 40 years. If he survives he will emerge in his 70s having lived most of a useless life, courtesy of FedGov Judge Furman. What did he do; is he a serial killer?

No. What he did was to blow the whistle on the CIA. He handed to Wikileaks thousands of papers that reveal its massive program of spying on anyone it sees fit, secretly using phones and even TV sets as listening devices. Our servants snoop on us at will, although you will not find any clause in the Constitution (which charters their very existence) to authorize any such activity; so the CIA is blatantly exceeding its powers and thereby breaking the law of the land.

But the CIA was not even accused! The one imprisoned was the man who exposed its criminality. And look what the referenced report says they said: that his were “the most damaging disclosures of classified information in American history.” So the CIA spying on us is not just a minor sideline; it's central to its entire work.

From the reports I doubt if I'd like to know Mr Schulte as a friend, though the assassination of his character may just be standard practice, to prejudice jurors against him. But he exposed government wrongdoing, challenging its supposed authority, and is being brutally punished.

That 40 years (or more) in a cage is no doubt what awaits Julian Assange, if the FedGov can ever get its fangs on him. Ditto, Edward Snowden - though he is fortunately under the protection of Russia.

Schulte is just the latest. Recall Ross Ulbricht, who began an encrypted market on-line, for anyone to buy and sell anything (like eBay) but with non-government money (Bitcoin) so that all transactions were out of sight of the snoops. Excellent idea. Ross harmed nobody; his was a victimless crime. He just challenged its authority to monopolize money and forbid the sale of certain products, eg drugs.

Sentence: life without parole. And Donald Trump, who had the power to free him, never bothered.

Recall also the victims of government savagery in the Davidian Massacre - the few who survived, that is; they were accused of shooting back, when government thugs fired on their peaceful residence. Sentence: 40 years, later fortunately revised to Time Served, upon appeal. Initially, the "justice" system was clearly bent upon wreaking maximum revenge. On the surviving victims.

That Waco outrage was the trigger that caused me to start writing regular blogs or columns, back in 1993; the link above takes you to what I wrote then for the local paper. So if anyone wonders why there are now hundreds of these blogs in the ZGB Archive, Waco is the reason.

Openly and effectively to challenge the monstrous power of government is a seriously hazardous activity. That's why the method my friends and I prepared in the TOLFA school is under the radar; the only action called for once the graduate is convinced is to leave government employ; and even if that was forbidden (!) he would make sure, like Schindler in his ammunition factory in Brunnlitz, that every piece of work performed is defective.
